Thinking about Machrihanish

It felt like I had accomplished a fair bit today; tying up admin loose ends, changing a trekking trip to Yellowstone to coastal walking in Jersey, a challenging yoga session with B involving some Yin poses, and an early lunch. I spent the afternoon in the West End visiting Partick library and then the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for a time slot that turned out to be very flexible, there appears to be no time limit. The blip is is  William McTaggart’s The Paps of Jura, my favourite painting. It is almost exactly the view we had from our previous house in Machrihanish where McTaggart spent many summers with his family.
I missed Machrihanish today, if we still lived there I would have been in the sea  this evening at this very spot probably after a run to the Gauldrons.
