Speckled Wood.

Nice day - weather slow to get started but cleared through and was very pleasant even though the light breeze appeared to be coming in from a northerly direction.  Dog walk in Belfairs Woods with friend and just iPhone hence a bit of a disappointing photographic day.  The route we took brought us to a very distinctive area where we might have expected to find the rare Heath Fritillary butterfly and not having my camera with me should have insured that we saw it!   Captured this and on return find that it is the common Speckled Wood.  There were some serious photographers with some impressive looking equipment lurking in bushes so I guess they were hoping to capture it.  Managed not to shout out - "there's one over here" and see their disappointment.
