Lonely Patrol

Mrs. Mallard swam the entire length of the estuary all by herself, quacking loudly all the while.  I'd love to know what she was saying/doing.  Perhaps looking for Mr. Mallard.   I don't know why she was the only one on the water -- most unusual.
