Poppin' Peanuts

One of two male woodpeckers on the peanuts this afternoon which I hadn't realised we had. It follows then that there are two nests around, one of which is in next doors apple tree; another thing that I hadn't realised till I was told about it last week. You can see the tiny bit of nut on its tongue ready to be swallowed.

A day spent in the garden planting and moving containers, cleaning round outside but still a lot of work to do.
