Flower Power

A scarce chaser looking out onto Kemerton lake,  perched on bindweed flowers.

Getting as close as the vegetation on the edge of the pond would allow I leaned over to get this then swizzling round to extricate myself from a fast sinking situation my foot caught on some bindweed tripping me up so I fell headlong - luckily narrowly missing Tilly and the water!

There weren't as many insects around as I was expecting then again the sun had gone in under a blanket of cloud but at least the dogs enjoyed their walk.
