Edinburgh Festival Prep.

I went through George Square on my run this morning and the "mad crew" were in the midst of erecting the Spiegeltent Palais du Variete in George Square Gardens in preparation for Edinburgh Festival events next month.  I looped back along Princes Street and amazingly the gardens are still closed "due to inclement weather"!

This afternoon I wandered up town to get some bits and pieces and out of curiosity carried on to the new St James Quarter for a look.  It's certainly a lot better than the old shopping mall and the shops that are new to Edinburgh (& Other Stories, Bershka, Pull & Bear) had queues.  

Nice yoga class tonight and enhanced by incense brought by the instructor to mask the mild paint smells that have hovered the last couple of weeks - yeah!
