The rain finally stopped this morning so I have spent a bit of time outdoors staking up my foxgloves. Some of my lupins also fell casualty to the weather, but this pink one is standing  nice and straight. I also did a fair bit  of weeding and pruning as the garden rubbish bins get emptied tomorrow. The weeding was made so much easier by the fact that the ground was wet.

We are hoping to get some sleep tonight after being kept awake nearly all last night by a faulty house alarm down the road. The house which is a ‘To Let’ property was unoccupied and we called the Estate Agent this morning who managed to get someone out this afternoon to sort it out, it was such a relief when it stopped.
