Langdale Pikes from Elterwater

We parked at Elterwater ( in Great Langdale ), walked along the beautiful riverside path to Skelwith Bridge, then went steeply up to Loughrigg Tarn ( where we had our picnic lunch ).

6 miles round trip…Lovely weather!

The Langdale Pikes are so photogenic…even more so when enhanced by Elterwater! ( see extra photo ).
