Day's End
After visiting 6 houses, we still had not decided on one. I have to admit I was feeling a little down in the dumps, not sure we had taken on a good life change. We took a break for lunch/dinner (extra #1) and then a walk on the beach (extra #2) as the sun was going down and the beach was clearing out.
Fortunately, a good night's sleep and I woke with a little more energy and optimism. Our real estate agent was a sweetheart. She got to know us and what we were looking for and really helped bring a lot to light as we looked. In the interest of full disclosure she informed us that her 34 year old son was, at the moment, fighting for his life with a very serious diagnosis. She wanted us to know that if for any reason she had to leave to be at his side, she would turn us over to someone equally competent.
Tomorrow (Monday) we would be on our own to explore some other options and get back together with her on Tuesday.
