Phew

Big Bird is relieved that it's the bone in favour this afternoon and not him.

Though given he's the first soft toy not to be destroyed within 5 minutes I'd say the future is looking bright for him.

Bill's back is scabbing over beautifully* after Wednesday, however we found a puncture wound a couple of days ago. Looks like it'll be okay - "just" another area with no hair on it. He's really hairy at the moment which is why I think I initially missed it - and the thickness of his coat probably helped protect to him to a degree. He's getting stripped in a couple of weeks so the bare patches are really going to stand out then :(

And following on from the advice from a few of you, I bought a stout walking stick this morning.



* Beautifully as in it looks hideous but looks like we've avoided any infection if that makes sense!

Just found another war wound - suspect they'll be even more uncovered when he gets stripped!
