Hiding

I had to hide behind the flag for some of the penalty shootout - couldn’t bear to watch. I had a feeling it wasn’t going to go well and sadly England’s penalty form continued with three misses so that Italy won. It wasn’t the greatest shootout at all as Italy also missed 2.

We’d best pack the flags away until we next get a good run. Maybe the World Cup next year will be lucky for us.

It rained all day long so we had a day at home watching Flash, playing Monopoly Empire (I didn’t win a game), and then settling in for the footie.  

Leo’s year all have Sports Day at 9am tomorrow and there will be some tired bodies after the late night that they will all have had cheering England on.
