COLLARED DOVE

Had quite a productive day today.  I had a list - and ticked off everything.  I did well with the sorting out this afternoon and filled another couple of bin bags for charity. 

I had a wander around the back garden and was intending taking a shot of a flower to blip but a couple of collared doves arrived so here is one of them.

At 8pm I was setled down in front of the TV like so many others to watch the Euro 2020 Final - Italy v England.  Couldn't belive it when England scored after 2 mins.  However England were unable to get another goal to wrap the game up.  Instead Italy equalised.  It was 1 -1 at full time so extra time was played.  Score was still 1 - 1 so it was time for the dreaded penalty shoot out.  Misses and saves on both sides but in the end it was Italy who triumphed.  Such a sad end to the tournament after everyone's hopes were high.  The players all looked very upset. However they should be proud of their achievement of reaching the Final.  They are a young bunch of players and I'm sure they will do well in future competitions.
