The Perfect Lily Pond

 
We saw the most amazing lily pond today with ten perfect lilies all in immaculate conditions. It’s rare that I visit a garden and see something that is so stunning. Here the owner has created an architectural garden design gem unlike anything I have ever seen  before. 
 
Ault Wharrie, formerly the Masonic Home in Dunblane, opens to the public for the first time under Scotland’s Gardens scheme  later this month and it is sure to attract an enormous amount of interest. It covers several acres and it has been replanted and redesigned over the last five years with the new owner.
 
While there is much to see the pond remains my favourite because of its “wow” factor.
