Zinnia

After a wet start the sun came out so we went out to do more uprooting in the garden. We have some bamboos that have got out of hand so they are next on the demolition front. They are shallow rooted but form a mat of shoots. Then after lunch I watched the ladies’ Wimbledon final and then we went out for a short stroll. This is a zinnia flower that I purchased last Sunday. I had to stake it as it was toppling over in the wind a few days ago and I thought I had lost it.
