Millendreath Beach

We had to be out of the cottage by 9 o’clock this morning so thought we’d stroll down to the beach at the bottom of the cliffs for breakfast in the cafe there. Unfortunately it was closed “due to unforeseen circumstances” (we suspect a ping from the NHS App) but at least it gave me a chance for the one photo I’ve taken today. As you can see there was a lot of low cloud and misty rain.

Anyway, we headed for home and, despite the heavy traffic which meant everything slowed down at every junction, we were home by lunchtime.
