It's still early but can't imagine a better blip today spotted first thing by the pondside - will update on the day later....

See extra blip, five hours later the skin of the dragonfly is starting to harden and change colour and the dragonfly has control of its muscles to bring the wings down. Unbelievable the dragonfly will last no more than one month, most of its life was spent as a nymph below the water
