Common blue damselfly

There were several of these flying around by the Duntreath Ponds this evening. I took my brand new camera to play with and this is my first post taken with it. I'm pretty pleased not least because I thought I had taken 70 photos and a few videos and somehow managed to take 77 videos. I've quickly learned from YouTube how to get a still JPEG from a video so it's been another busy bliplearning day. The extra is a view of one of the ponds with Dumgoyne and Dumfoyn in the background.
