BCSplash - Kitty in Colour.

It's the weekend and time for our new #BCSplash showcase.

This colourful set of portraits was created by blipper Mambo for one of the many weekly challenges you will find here on Blipfoto. 

Mambo had been intending to use a set of acrylic filters purchased in a little glazing shop in New York to create the desired effect but, having failed to find them, she used editing filters to create this stunning abstract image.

Many of us already know Mambo but, if you don't, head over to her journal and say hello. Looking through her work she loves colour and has the enviable ability to find something interesting to photograph every day. Plus there's always a great story behind the shot.

A new challenge...
Keep an eye on the Community Blog over the coming days as we will be launching a brand new challenge. We won't give too much away right now, but it may well involve portraits and a bit of imagination.

We're always on the lookout for eye-catching images to be included on our Facebook and Twitter headers as well as here on the community blog. 

Pick out a photo that would make an appealing first impression to visitors and add the tag #BCsplash.  

The images ideally should work in a banner format but we can crop them or add a border if necessary. If you're not sure but you love your image, tag it anyway.
