Killer Heels

In shoe shop with #2 daughter - always a big mistake.

#2D: "Which do you think are best?"
Me: "None of them - they're all hideous."
#2D: "I really like the ones with the orange heels."
Me: "They're too high."
#2D: "I like them like that."
Me: "You'll get bunions like I had. Remember what my feet looked like after the operations?"
#2D: "I think I'll get these ones."

Aaargh! Easter hols end today, thank goodness - back to school with her tomorrow.

Spent the rest of the day wrestling with the Triffid weeds in the garden, and reading the Sunday paper in the sun while no-one was looking.
