Poppies and cornfields

Day 8: Germany
Taken on today’s bike ride from Ingolstadt to Aichach (76km, train to the start and cycled back). We have passed many cornfields and poppies during our cycling so this photo will be a good reminder for us. The sky was overcast until late afternoon making it ideal conditions for cycling. We took our time and had our usual bakery stop. Not sure the kilomètres we’re cycling are keeping the calories off! Yet again we cycled through/past many nature reserves and saw buzzards, deer and a stork. We’ve been very impressed with the number of nature reserves and the solar panels in fields and on farm buildings.
