Three's company?

Cool, cloudy and with frequent showers of rain, feeling more like October than June. I spent most of the day catching up with emails and record entry, following a very busy week.

I took an evening stroll round the garden, stepping carefully over the many snails, slugs and  dispersing froglets, and was surprised to find a small group of fungi had sprung up in the middle of the lawn. 
Most insects had disappeared for the night, but the larvae of the Harlequin Ladybirds were still sitting on their leaves - no need to hide with that warning colouration.
