A mischief of magpies

I tried to get this shot earlier in the day but the sun shining on part of it made it tricky so I returned later and wouldn't you know it? A car parked opposite in the (narrow) lane. When I stood with the car behind me I was way too close. If I stood with the car in front of me I was way too short. So I scavenged for something to stand on. All I could find was a kitchen sink, draining board and all, which gave me about another 25 cm. So standing on this, holding the camera as high as possible with barely average length arms and using the pop out screen, I could just about see what I was doing.

This mural on corrugated iron is one of the better examples of street art in the local area, in my view, while being a bit silly. I like the artist's creative use of the pavement.

Next time I'll take a milk crate.
