He visited big time overnight/this morning -3deg.....thankfully the sun has shone but its been very cold not reaching any giddy heights.  We have had the fire simmering all day.
I did a quick circuit of the garden early (like before breakfast) to get a few icy shots.....I've gone for this stoic little flower.  Not sure if this is a late summer or a very early spring flower.  
In extra I've put in two collages of some of my favourites.

An hour ago, our rural road has turned in State Highway 1 - obviously a serious accident somewhere, needing to use our road as a detour.  Hope not too serious.  
Its just on dark now, the traffic is still flowing.
