Had to reluctantly get up this morning for 9am to let the painter in. He gave me a price to rectify the damage the carpet fitters made.
Had a heated discussion with said carpet fitter on the phone where they agreed to cover half the cost the painter quoted.
Painter came back and repainted walls as he was free. Excellent service from the painter and he only took what the fitters agreed to pay up as he didn't want me out of pocket.
All over by 10.15am. What a palava.

I'm away back to bed as still feeling ill. Not a day for being outside anyway.
