Challacombe Valley, Dartmoor

I've photographed this valley many times before but the light is always different so I hope you like this version.

The valley is full of history from the site of the medieval village to the remains of tin streaming and wheel pits by the stream that runs along the valley bottom.

Although we had over an inch of rain overnight this morning it dawned bright but cold so fingers crossed that it lasts!
