Fire in the Sky

The sunset was beautiful as we drove down to the beach; by the time we got to the shoreline the sunset had faded slightly. This is what we saw from the car. The reflection was almost as pretty as the sky.

Obviously we are at the beach. We left home at 7pm and expected traffic on the way over here to be heavy, but there were hardly any cars! Rockaway Beach is one of the few place having a firework display this weekend so I expect the crowd will eventually show up here. Most 4th of July firework displays are cancelled because the dry conditions here.
