A Beam of Sunlight...

...shining across a newly mown lawn. Today we bought a lawnmower and finally cut some grass without unnecessary difficulties.
Our old lawnmower will be going in for some repairs, and if they work, for a service. Then our really old lawnmower will also go in for repairs and a service.  Which means we may end up with three functioning mowers, which would be a big improvement on one mower that started if you hit it in the right place. A gardener's life is never simple.
