‘Central’
I wouldn’t normally compose a shot like this, much preferring the rule of thirds but I noticed that ‘central’ was the topic for this weeks widwed challenge.
Another beautiful location which we were lucky to discover a few years ago.
Taynult, on the lower shores of Loch Etive.
This is Kelly’s pier, built for the quarry in the 1800’s
We last visited this spot last September and remembered that they were a couple of ladies swimming off the pier then.
Today they made another appearance for their daily swim. I got chatting to them and found them friendly and welcoming, as are all the members of the public we have been lucky enough to meet.
Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the employees of the site where we are staying.
To be generous I think that they are overworked and trying to run a system that simply doesn’t work.
I ‘ll stop short of naming the site but needless to say, we won’t return for a 2nd visit.
Watched Andy Murray win his 2nd round match. Even on the phone screen it was an enthralling match.
My bruised leg and scraped knee from last week’s fall are now healed but my ribs are still causing me a great deal of pain.
I have deliberately not used my camera much the last few days, in the hope that I won’t aggravate my injury further.
However, I seem to alternate between sneezing, coughing and now hiccoughing which certainly doesn’t help. :-(
