The Way I See It

This will be short because I'm limited as to what I can see clearly, at least for today.  My blip is my dining room curtain, embellished with a moose ornament which was a gift from a favorite blipper/friend.  He was supposed to be there temporarily, but he seems so happy that I can't bear to move him.

Anyway, to all my dear blipper friends who have sent encouraging messages for my cataract surgery this morning, first of all, thank you so much.  I can't overstate how good they made me feel.  Secondly, I made it through with no problem, although it was a bit more intense than I had expected.  It was a most interesting light show and I remained a participant in the whole thing.  The doctor and anesthesiologist were both just great.  I now have a patch over my right eye and basically am hopelessly unable to read anything, but the patch comes off in the morning and I see the doctor for the post-op review.  I suspect my dearest BlipBuddy Mary Jo might blip a terrifying picture of the post-op me which I'll never live down.  She took me to the surgery, waited until it was over, drove me home, and wouldn't leave until she was sure I was going to be okay.  I hope everyone has a friend like her.

Left eye is scheduled for July 14 (which would have been my husband's 80th birthday, so I think that's a good sign.)
