Going Forth!
Church this morning and the weather was not very encouraging. I came back to Kathryn's complete with gardening tools and weeded the borders in their back garden. It is a North facing garden with a high bank behind and until a week ago had a ten foot high leylandii hedge to the west. It basically meant there was no sunlight in the garden at all. The soil is very dry and there's a lot of brash from the hedge, but at least now there are no weeds and some hope of growing something.
By this afternoon the weather was much improved, lovely and warm and with a warm gentle breeze. Nice to sit in the sunshine and relax
I went down to Silverknowes after dinner this evening, the view across the Forth to the Isle of May was stunning. The shot in the extra is from the same place but looking West rather than East. If you go large you can just see the Forth Bridges over the headland on the left.
There were lots of people around even some teenagers swimming as the tide was right in. I've lived here all my life and I don't think I've seen the tide as high. There were lots of these electric scooters too. I can't understand why, if it is illegal to ride them on public roads or pavements, there are so many of them about and going very fast.
More high numbers published again today keep taking care everyone.
