Round and about

We had a drive to Southport today.

It was a lovely day, so seemed a shame to waste it and the seaside is always a good option.

As an added bonus, Southport has lots of shops with sparkly things in the windows to distract me from how far I actually walked.
The wheelchair doesn’t fit in my car boot, so although the plan for today was for me to have a rest and put my feet up, I’ve done over 9000 steps!

I’ve realised now though that I’ve created a monster after our week away last week. Mr A dragged me into the amusement arcade to play the 2p machines again.
Last of the big spenders, we flashed the cash and spent a whole £2.50!!
It never really dawned on us before though, that you never actually win; for every coin that drops, you end up putting it back in the machine. It’s good fun though ;-)
