Forgotten Pleasure

Part of Paddy’s recuperation is shortened walks and Fox Rosehill Garden, originally created as part of the town residence of Robert Were Fox fits the bill. Quiet, under used but very peaceful the gardens are located off Melvill Road just a short distance from our house.
The gardens are a legacy from the Fox family who gave part of the garden for public enjoyment at the end of the Second World War. Many varied species from Australia, New Zealand and South America have been successfully introduced to the mild Cornish climate, including Lemon, Banana and Eucalyptus Trees, Bamboos, Agaves and a wide variety of Palms.

Paddy enjoys the shade, the cool ground underfoot and being inquisitive, the variety of wildlife.
