Down and out
Another late disturbed night......the rain was pelting down when I went to bed, so was surprised to see it was dry when the alarm woke me!
After a change of plans I had a few things to sort out this morning, a couple of phone calls, rearranging our ladies lunch on Thursday, then off over to meet sis and accompany her and Kobi to a particular vet in Cheshire, so Kobi could be assessed, following his intermittent lameness.
We grabbed a quick sandwich and brew before heading off ......roads werent overly busy, made it in good timel After an initial assessment and chat, vet felt it was worth scsnning Kobis, shoulders, neck and elbows, sis agreed. They said they would do it there and then, as you can see the big lad was sedated and soon out for the count.
The results of his scans were good, nothing untoward to worry about, slight degradation, which is early onset Arthritis, but that is entirely in keeping with his breed, size and age.
Kobi took rather a long time to come Round and needed to be lifted into the back of the car, which at almost 7.5stone was a fete in its own right, didnt help sis's recovering fractured wrist at all! It was almost 4.30 by the time we left so no,chance,of getting home in time for the tart of England's match, BiL recorded it, we all stayed off social media, radio & tv u til we were back gome, had had dinner, which sis had left on a timer inmthemoven, the. we settled down to watch the match "live" as it were. First half disappointing for us.....not,sure we were watching the same game as the commentators, they seemed far ,ore impressed and excited :-/. Better second half, two goals, Sterling freakishly in the right,to score, but another awful performance from him for me! Anyhow a win is a win....cant see us winning it though despite all the hysteria that will u odubtesly come now!!
Drove home, watered all the baskets & troughs etc. emptied the bins, got changed, made. myself a brew, and sat down to watch the latter stages of the later game......England v Ukraine Saturday next!
Hopefully you all enjoyed the footy and are safe & well.....Imthink Kobi will be right as rain by morning too ;-)
