What a Day!

Well, I can scarce believe it! Beating Germany in a tournament! I never thought I'd ever see it, after so many disappointments over the years (decades). Delighted for Gareth Southgate, who has felt the sharp blade of defeat in the cruelest way!
If this wasn't enough, we have the 36 year old Mark Cavendish winning in the Tour de France. Truly the Comeback Kid. Seemingly cast aside with no way back. So much emotion!
