Prizegiving

Poor H, sat with his mother watching form the sofa the moment he should be strutting his stuff across the stage finishing school. No marquee. No strawberries no champagne for the next three days. However, being able to watch it with him was emotional and a wee magical moment of bonding. Tears shed by me watching all the happy video collages of his schooldays and realising the big choice I made to send all three to this school was the right one.
The decision,taken nine years ago, was always about H who admits himself would have been an out and out delinquent if not felon had he attended the local comp. I am pridebursting to see what a nice lad he’s become and what lies ahead. To think I thought him a dud when he couldn’t walk or talk at fifteen months old and now here is championing life, Covid rules excepting
