Better Day

First Things first - Paddy.
9:00am loomed large with the possibility of £500 worth of x-rays required but it’s Paddy so whatever it takes.
He bounded out of the car and strutted his stuff in front of the vet, all good, continue with his meds and minimal walks for ten days. He’s on the mend but craving a bit of tlc.

Paddy and I spent the afternoon in the garden before I headed off to EPIC for a row in the gig. We were treated to this absolutely marvellous gig, built by local young people at the Falmouth Marine School and purchased by the club through a grant from the Veterans Charity.
I find I really enjoy the gig rowing, the banter with the other Veterans, even the hideous cerise/pink polo shirts, (mine is now safely stowed at the bottom of my sock drawer), once in the gig and rowing I just sort of drift away, keeping in stroke and just enjoying the whole experience.
Great fun.
