Through The Looking Glass

I had a fair night of sleep - the first this time in Aus though things still feel a bit unreal. All began to improve when I got to Morningsong, a choir here in Brisbane.Nothing like a good sing to make you feel alive - and nothing like learning a new song in Russian to sharpen the wits.

In the evening I went to the opening of an art show in which a friend from choir had three pieces showing. I enjoy looking at art and some of the 100 or so items were most unusual - for example, a giant tea cup made of dried teabags. It was a stimulating evening enhanced by the nibbles which were excellent.

Before going in to the exhibition the refelections in these glass tower blocks caught my eye, as well as the glimpse of after-work office staff unwinding on a Friday evening with an outdoor drink.
