Puffins galore

After yesterdays cancellation of all boats to Skomer, we were delighted to hear that they were running once again today. The sea was dead calm, but the weather wasn't that great - it drizzled for a lot of the afternoon, but not enough to get soaked, just a bit damp. 
But it was worth it as the birds on show were amazing. The puffins are so charismatic and they come so close to you it's a wonderful experience. I took hundreds of shots and it will take me a while to get through them all, but here are a few that I liked so far. More puffins, oystercatcher and herring gull chicks in extras. 
I will continue with my catch up tomorrow as I'm pooped and need some sleep now!
