Turk's Cap Lily

In the shady undergrowth of John's garden, every year this lily appears. Its scent is so strong that it's almost overpowering and not particularly pleasant. 

A lovely time last evening with A and C. The first time we've had anyone round for a meal for so long and it was quite exciting! Such a warm, still evening that we sat in the garden with drinks and tapas for ages. I can't remember ever being able to do this before!

A bit of a celebration too. Their cat had finally decided to come home after vanishing for a week long rabbiting expedition!  Half the village had been hunting for him! Oh, the joys of being a pet owner!
