It flowers!

The cobweb covered Sempervivum arachnoideum has decided to flower, and a bright pink one at that. 

Everything is looking good just now, indoor and outdoor plants, all except the peas which the birds are keeping well trimmed! The current defences aren't working so I'm going to have to properly net them. The peas, not the birds! I don't like the garden covered in mesh but it's either that or no peas!

The compost heat is now wonderfully hot after our labours yesterday. That should kill off the weed seeds!
