The planned trip to shaints cancelled due to wind and rain coming through in afternoon.

Legs stiff so took to Stornoway to get some supplies and have an easy stroll.

Back to base and went out fir a fish. It was wild with the forecast wind whipping over the exposed landscape. I meandered around finding bits i could cast safely.

2 caught at the end I just sat and listened to the drumming snipe, golden plovers, dunlin and oyster catcher as I was on the edge of their territories.

Sport watched with eco son. A history repeat.
