Marbled White Butterfly on a bed of Lace

This was so unusual to see as the marbled whites tend to feed on purple flowers. I think it is a female offering herself to the many males that were flying today. 

Just a little walk in the wet fields today as the weeding was so easy! We are also cutting back the hedging that has put out longer shoots than I can ever remember with the thunderstorms watering so liberally. It will take about a week to complete and lots of yoga to keep the back happy!
