Go Dog Go!
I can't think of a better illustration for GO than Spike! He can do this 900 times a day, but I can't.
He's been a very good boy today...he stayed in the room under the desk the whole time we were doing Pilates.
He met the owner's wife's little Bichon at Hammond Autowerks who barks at everyone but took quite a shine to Spike...another good mark in his copybook.
We walked across the street to Trail to wait for them check out the car. They said they'd be rotating the tires so they could determine why the tire pressure light kept going on.
We had to be back home by 11:30 because the umbrella people were coming so Dana was primed to pick us up but the car was ready by 10:45 so we didn't need her. Instead of being gone, the tire pressure graphic seems to be permanently on now. Having only one car can be a bit complicated sometimes.
Drove home to find the umbrella guys waiting in the driveway. They took away the big box, checked out the family handiwork, gave it their stamp of approval and showed us how to rotate it as well as tilt and raise and lower it.
We had just enough time to eat some lunch before the pest control guy was due to arrive to check the traps and do something to control the ants which invaded the house during the heat wave.
I went out to throw Spike's Kong for him and decided to close the umbrella in case the afternoon winds come up. It won't close all the way. I think it has something to do with rotating it, but we didn't have time to check it out because the pest control guy was here.
Now Spike and I are holed up in the office because Spike didn't think the pest control guy (Paul) belongs in our house. Spike doesn't like guys with ladders. I left John to deal with him.
It hasn't been a very restful or satisfying day, but we're going out to dinner with the family....always a good way to relax.
