Hedgerow rose

Drove down to the canal and had quite a lengthy stroll.  Had a long chat with a couple mooring their narrow boat.  They have lived on it for 11 years and love it.  It was raining when I got there, so pleased I had an umbrella in the car, even though it was almost blown inside out.  It may be the longest day, but it felt like November!
