Evening light over the golf course

A bit of a quiet day with intermittent rain and sunshine, preventing us doing much in the garden. About 6 pm we went for  a walk over the South Winchester golf course( on the  footpath, of course!). There were a few golfers about, and a camera -shy heron  by a pond. However, it was an interesting  evening sky. 
I finished reading "The Wild Silence", Raynor Winn's sequel to her moving account of  walking the SW Coast path, entitled"The Salt Path". I found  her new book also interesting and  insightful, in a more reflective way. I was very pleased for her that "The Salt Path" has been so successful that it has taken taken  her out of poverty, and given her a more financially secure future.
