Channelling Bob Ross

This is my first ever oil painting, having been inspired by Bob Ross.

If you don't know who Bob Ross is, then you have missed a treat. Go find him on Google - The Joy of Painting. He has the most calming voice and is just wonderful to watch even if you aren't going to paint.

Clearly, it's not brilliant but for a first effort, 5 hours worth of painting, I am quite pleased with it to be honest.

Aside from that, and getting out of the house for an hour for a coffee and to do the food shopping, I haven't done much else. Have to say though that painting has completely taken my mind away from morbid things. Which is good.

This time next week it should be done and I should be up to my eyeballs in morphine :-)
