Earth Shine

I stood outside for an hour, awaiting an opportunity to see the comet.

Realised afterwards that it wasn't that my eyes are rubbish, but that the houses and the low bank of cloud would have stopped me from seeing PanStarrs anyway.

I admit, I am disappointed.

It looks like tomorrow, the weather will not be on my side. Fingers crossed for a clear night within the next few days, otherwise my luck will run out :-(

In exactly 1 week I will be drinking my pre-operative drinks (4 of the buggers to consume the night before, another 2 by 10.30 on the morning of my surgery), taking my pre-meds and getting my bag packed.
