Islay and the buttercups
A good start to the day with an early(ish) morning swim at the gym. I notice yet another asymptomatic covid testing station is adjacent, perhaps not unrelated to the positivity rate ascending inexorably well above 5%.
Islay dog arrived later, she is not going to Liv’s (maternal) great grandfather’s ninetieth birthday in East Lothian, no room in the gazebo. We enjoyed having her and I tried to get her to pose somewhat successfully with the Pollok Park buttercups, something had clearly caught her eye other than the buttercups. It’s encouraging that so much of the grassland has been left wild.
Father’s Day catch up phone call with #2 son, as ever #1 son forgot, even though he became one himself six weeks ago.
