Le Moulin
We woke up to more snow today, fortunately it wasn't as cold, just -4 degrees!
Windmills aren't common in Belgium, and I don't know the history of this one, but I've passed it a few times, so on my way to my Zumba class this morning I decided to stop and take a few photos. I had to trespass across some farmland to get up close, but it was necessary in the name of 'Blip'. I took a few shots and then made my escape :-) I'm sure if the farmer had seen me he'd have thought I was a little strange as I was wearing my 'Zumba' pants, tucked into my wellies with my camera over my shoulder lol!
Zumba was great, and then this afternoon I went to Ikea with a couple of friends. We had some lunch before shopping, but no Horse balls were on the menu today! For those of you who don't live in Europe, there's been a big scandal about horse meat being sold as beef, and it was found that amongst other big named stores, Ikea were selling meatballs which contained horse meat.
It's normal to eat horse in France and also to an extent, here in Belgium, but it isn't in the UK, and whilst it's not wrong to eat it, it's wrong to sell it claiming it's Beef.
Anyway, as usual, after a good browse around the showroom, I came back with more than I'd planned - for some reason, it's impossible not to :-)
Once home, I took Louis out for his walk and met Alan on his way home from work, so we stopped off at the Brasserie for a quick drink. We usually go on a Friday, but as I'm working tomorrow, today was our Friday night - it's almost the weekend :-)
