Glenridding

Decided to have a nice relaxing restful day today cruising on the Ullswater steamers. (Prebooked).

We had around 2 hours in Pooley Bridge which was enough time to eat our picnic and let Reg have some paddling.

As we got off the boat Mr H’s sister rang him to say that their dad had fallen and had multiple fractures and was being taken to the major trauma unit in Newcastle.

Needless to say that our picnic and cruise back up the lake wasn’t very restful or relaxing.

Mr H did manage some sleep in bed last night and has been in significantly less pain today, which can only be a good thing given how the rest of the day panned out.
